Hello, we are Robovox.

And this is our story.

We, that’s Frederik Lange and Oktay Bal, have a ton of experience in logistics, online retail as well as manufacturer our own brands. We’ve been on the market with our own and other brands for more than 10 years.

Our idea was to create a professional sales partner for retailers and manufacturers. We successfully implemented our idea – and that’s how Robovox was born.

But then we outdid ourselves – or even better: we took an even bigger step forward and contacted the world’s largest manufacturer of robotic vacuum cleaners. Our goal was to represent ILIFE (today: ZACO) in Germany as distributor and sales partner.

Admittedly, it was a very big step. But after many meetings, often late at night (due to the time difference) and calls, we were able to convince the Chinese company and received our very first “test delivery”. We sold it within a week. Why? Because we had a functioning online sales network, and we knew how to sell good products quickly.

That got the manufacturer’s attention, of course. That’s how we – Robovox Distributions GmbH – were awarded with the exclusive distribution rights for the brand in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. A huge success for us but also a huge challenge. Now we would have to adjust our corporate structure to meet the needs of this deal.

With our incredible team, we were able to make ZACO the third largest robotic vacuum cleaner brand in just two years (source: GfK).

This success allowed us to take over distribution for all of Europe. That’s a tremendous compliment for us and our work. And, of course, a huge vote of confidence.

In 2020 we launched the brand “djive” in order to expand our portfolio to include air purifiers and handstick vacuum cleaners. That was also a success. After just a few months, these products took hold across European markets.

Jashen, an innovative manufacturer of bagless battery-operated vacuum cleaners, contacted us in 2021. In just three months, we were able to localize the brand and launch the products on the European market.
